📘 About Us

Considering large scale unemployment of our educated youth, the Managing Committee/ Society Patna Muslim High School decided to start this technical Institute and Vocational training centre vide resolution No. 2 of its meeting held on 5-10-86. The main purpose of this Institute is to reduce unemployment among our educated youth by providing them opportunity for employment among younger generation specially belonging to minority community.

Impressed by the dedicated efforts of our Late Secretary, Prof. Dr. Mohib Ahmad; a philanthropic Muslim of a reputed family of Patna Mr. Qazi Md. Masood (Now Hony. Director) gifted a big house at Birla Mandir Road for running this technical training institute. Shah Rashidullah is the name of maternal grand father of Qazi Md. Masood, Shah Rashidullah belonged to a distinguished family of Ghazipur (U.P.), married to a respectable lady Bibi Khairun Nisa in the year 1902 and got settled at Patna. He built the house (in which the Institute is located ) in the year 1917 and practiced as a leading lawyer in Civil court till his death in 1962.

The institute is named after Shah Rashidullah to commemorate his memory as per the wishes of Qazi Md. Masood.

The institute has been very useful to eradicate mass unemployment among our educated youth. Large number of our students have solved their employment problem through technical and vocational training in this institute. After their successful training in this institute, they have got jobs in India and abroad or are self –employed.

With the valuable assistance of Islamic Development Bank (Jeddah), the institute has now got a constructed four storyed building in the heart of capital town of Patna.

Thanks to the Almighty, the institute is now duly affiliated to NCVT and is recognized by Govt. of Bihar as well as Govt. of India.

With its prime location and massive four storyed building high infrastructural facilities, works shop, competent staff and better result, this institute is one of the best I.T.I of Bihar state.

The institute follows the guidelines of N.C.V.T, Govt. of India.
